Through their help, we are able to track the patient experience and better understand the things we can do to make the patient and family experience as good as possible.
The expertise of our physicians and staff are obviously an important component in excellent patient care, but so is the involvement of our patients and their families. That’s why Baylor delivers what we refer to as patient-centered care.
Patient-centered care is based on the active involvement of patients and their families at every level of care, and empowers them to make decisions about treatment options.
